Tyger Bates
I started by accounting career in 2006 with over 15 years of experience working with a public CPA firm. After graduating college with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an option in Accounting, I was offered an office/bookkeeping position at a private farm management company where I performed all the basic bookkeeping functions to run the business. I then spent over thirteen years working with a governmental education agency in multiple capacities including accounting and school district leadership support. Grant accounting was at the forefront of the services provided which included budget development and grant reporting. I also provided extensive accounting support for a charter school. After six years in business, I was promoted to a position to support school leaders around school planning and financial reporting. The most prominent role I had was Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) review and support. Throughout my career I have also maintained a part-time business as being self-employed providing tax and accounting services to friends and family, including assisting a local charter school with their business accounting.
Having worked in multiple levels of business administration from public accounting to a for-profit business to government, I have gained a unique skill set that will enable me to provide a service not found in many other firms. Accounting truly is a passion of mine. I have a strong work ethic, am a quick learner, and am very organized. I have always taken great pride in my work and will continue to do so for your company. My experiences have laid the foundation to enable me to be an asset to your business.
